Safety is our top priority.  Commercial projects are preformed in compliance with the Ontario Ministry of Labour Guidelines and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.  All work is performed by certified staff and each job includes a qualified Supervisor, Tender and Diver.  Notice of Project is always filed with the Ontario Ministry of Labour.  A Safe Work Plan and Contingency plan are provided to the contractor for inspection prior to each job.  Copies are maintained by Kanata Diving Supply and the Ontario Ministry of Labour.

                            

Amendments to The Occupational Health and Safety Act in 2004 strengthened the worker training requirements for occupational diving operations covered by the regulation.  The Regulation requires workers and supervisors involved in diving operations that are covered by the act to be trained to a level of competency equal to or exceeding the Canadian Standards Association [CSA] standard Z275.4-02 – Competency Standard for Diving Operations.
